WE LEAVE THINGS UNRESOLVED.
The setting gives you tensions, places, rumours and possibilities rather than a definitive answer to every mystery. You are not expected to memorise a fixed canon before you can begin.
Independent worlds. Character-driven games. Uncertain futures.
VOIDSCAR is a narrative science-fiction skirmish game about desperate crews, unstable territory and what humanity is prepared to sacrifice in order to survive.
THE SKY DID NOT OPEN. IT FAILED.
Civilisation survives beneath wounded heavens, held together by failing infrastructure, political necessity and the work of people sent where sensible people refuse to go.
Beyond the safe boundaries lie Scar-touched ruins, abandoned installations and territories where distance, matter and memory no longer behave as they should. Recovery Crews enter these places under contract. Some return carrying the impossible. Some return changed. Some do not return at all.
VOIDSCAR places a small crew in your hands and asks what they will risk for survival, profit, loyalty or something still worth believing in.
A WORLD BUILT TO BE INHABITED
VOIDSCAR is deliberately told in fragments: damaged histories, uncertain truths, isolated worlds and questions with no single answer.
The setting gives you tensions, places, rumours and possibilities rather than a definitive answer to every mystery. You are not expected to memorise a fixed canon before you can begin.
Build crews with histories. Turn contracts into campaigns. Follow characters beyond the battlefield. Use the framework to tell stories the book could never prescribe for you.
We provide the world, its tensions and the systems that govern play. What becomes true at your table is yours.
INSIDE THE RULEBOOK
SMALL CREWS. DANGEROUS CONTRACTS. LASTING CONSEQUENCES.
VOIDSCAR is a narrative tabletop skirmish game designed around compact forces, meaningful decisions and battles that become part of a continuing story.
Build a crew. Accept contracts. Enter unstable territory. Recover what you can. Live with what follows.
The rules are supported by a developed science-fiction setting, contract-driven scenarios, campaign progression and an armoury built for distinct fighters rather than anonymous ranks. The world is there for players who want to explore it, while the game remains direct enough to reach the table without a library of additional books.

A FINISHED BETA. AN UNFINISHED HORIZON.
VOIDSCAR began as a passion project: a world built because we wanted it to exist and a game made to carry that world onto the tabletop.
The beta rulebook is the real, playable result of that work. From here, the direction of travel depends upon the audience it finds and the support it earns.
